Seen on contextual reference:
In the early years of The Stooges, Iggy Pop was photographed for a promotional shoot in his “Rational” t-shirt. The year was 1969, and Iggy Pop was making statements through his wardrobe, and this was a humorous conversation starter.
Designated the “Godfather of Punk”, Iggy Pop started his career in 1967 as the vocalist and lyricist of influential proto-punk band The Stooges. In the early years, The Stooges gained a reputation for their confrontational performances, and primitive style of rock n’ roll. Throughout Pop’s career, he has been well known for his outrageous and unpredictable stage antics, which included popularizing stage-diving, poetic lyrics, and deep distinctive voice.
To this day, he has remained both a culture icon and a significant influence on a wide range of musicians in numerous genres, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
This feminine, super soft tank top features a satin label and slightly relaxed and longer fit. It's made from 50% poly, 25% combed ring spun cotton and 25% rayon. Care Instructions: Machine wash cold, do not bleach and tumble dry low.
